Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

Data protection standards and information security protocols for institutional deal-making.

Foundershala Ventures adheres to strict confidentiality protocols governing founder submissions, capitalization tables, financial statements, and transaction negotiations under applicable Indian and international data privacy regulations.

1. Scope of Institutional Data Collection

When founders or institutional investors interact with Foundershala Ventures via our intake portals, valuation engines, or advisory desks, we collect information strictly necessary for transaction underwriting. This includes corporate registration details, audited MIS, financial projections, and shareholder registry data.

We do not sell, license, or monetize proprietary founder data to third-party data brokers or marketing syndicates under any circumstance.

2. Treatment of Non-Public Financial Information (MNPI)

All qualitative and quantitative materials shared with Foundershala Ventures are classified as Material Non-Public Information. Access is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis to mandated transaction partners, senior analysts, and certified statutory valuers.

Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) deployed for due diligence incorporate multi-factor authentication, watermarking, and dynamic audit logging to prevent unauthorized dissemination.

3. Retention & Secure Purging Protocols

Financial models and transaction artifacts are retained in encrypted cold storage for the statutory retention period required by Indian corporate laws (Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI mandates).

Upon formal written conclusion or termination of an advisory mandate, clients may request permanent cryptographic purging of all non-statutory confidential working papers.
